The Independence Day celebrations of Galigamuwa Divisional Secretariat were held on 04.02.2022 in a simple and proud manner to coincide with the 74th Independence Day celebrations of the island of Sri Lanka.
The ceremony was presided over by Susantha Herath, Divisional Secretary, Galigamuwa. After the all religious sermons Divisional Secretary stated that all the government workers should unite actively and engage in critically responsible venture to arise nation proudly. Singing of patriotic songs was done by the staff officers and the event was attended by the all members of the office staff including the Assistant Divisional Secretary, Administrative Officer and all the staff grade members
Simultaneously, tree planting programs were conducted in all the Grama Niladhari Divisions of the Galigamuwa Divisional Secretariat under the patronage of the Divisional Officers.
