Following the guidance of Galigamuwa Divisional Secretary Susantha Herath, a volleyball tournament was held on 11.04.2022 at Keerthiratne Vidyalaya, Kobbewala to develop the sports skills of the children in four Grama Niladhari Divisions of Galigamuwa Division.Following the guidance of Galigamuwa Divisional Secretary Susantha Herath, a volleyball tournament was held on 11.04.2022 at Keerthiratne Vidyalaya, Kobbewala to develop the sports skills of the children in four Grama Niladhari Divisions of Galigamuwa Division.
The Volleyball Tournament was organized to bring the joy of the year to the youth through unity and solidarity which is the real objective of Bakmaha. Divisional Secretary Susantha Herath and Additional Divisional Secretary Surangi Adhikari Manike inaugurated the festival. Many children playing volleyball in Ballapana Udabage and Peherambe divisions participated and merit awards were presented to the winners.
All the Divisional Officers were present at this occasion and special thanks should be extended to the new Development Officers of Galigamuwa, Ballapana Pathabage, Ballapana Udabage and Poherambe Divisions who organized the tournament.
